student ministry

Our Mission:

"Make disciples of Jesus who grow into the image of Jesus and make more disciples of Jesus"

At Hickory Valley, our mission for students is threefold:

1. "Make disciples of Jesus" It is our duty to make followers of no one but Jesus. Salvation is in Jesus alone.

2. "who grow into the image of Jesus" Discipleship is the next step after salvation. A followers job is to become more like Jesus.

3. "make more disciples of Jesus" Multiply was the last command of Jesus before he ascended into heaven, so our mission is to have our students be obedient to that command.

For Parents

Parents, you are the primary disciple makers and growers in your family. As much as the church is here to help disciple your kiddos, it's you who are on the front lines every single day trying to help your babies grow to be more like Jesus. Here at Hickory Valley we want to do all that we can to help. It is our job to walk along side you as you disciples your kids to be the best kingdom workers they can be. To help with that reach out and let us know how we can help: matthew.dawkins@hvcconline.com

To start, here are some things I (Matthew) have found along the way that might be helpful:
