At Hickory Valley Christian Church, worship is more than just music, it's a way of life. We strive to provide opportunities for multi-generational, passionate worship. On Sunday mornings, you can expect uplifting music accompanied by a worship band that includes piano, guitars, keyboard, drums, and occasionally our worship choir. You will also experience a relevant and encouraging message brought by our Lead Pastor, Jack Dyer.
There is a time to partake in Communion or The Lord's Supper. This is a chance for believers in Jesus Christ to eat a small piece of cracker that represents Jesus' body along with a a cup of grape juice that represents Jesus' shed blood.
There is a time that we take up an offering. This is an opportunity to help us spread the message of Jesus around Chattanooga, the United States, and the world through our different ministries and missions.
Finally, there is a time to respond. While some responses are more private, we invite anyone who would like to become a Christian or join HVCC or would simply like to pray with someone, to come to the front at the end of the service.
Checking In Your Children
When you arrive at our building, whether on Sunday or Wednesday, you'll most likely enter the doorway underneath the green canopy. To find our children's check-in desk, please turn left and proceed into the large white room. You'll see a sign for our children's ministry and a desk with computers on it. One of our trained check-in representatives will greet you and walk you through the process and explain where your child will be and how to retrieve your child at the end of service.
We would love to see you this Sunday!
